As a Change Management Consultant, you will play a key role in guiding business areas through strategic and operational change initiatives that drive employee adoption, engagement, and measurable results. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to design and execute change strategies that support project success and long-term sustainability. You will assess organizational readiness, identify risks and impacts, and implement structured change methodologies that ensure smooth transitions across multiple workstreams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Communications, Education/Training, Organizational Change Management or other job-related field from an accredited college or university
  • PLUS six (6) years relevant experience in Corporate Communications, Program Management, Organizational development, HR Consulting, Education, Training or directly related discipline
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management processes, principles, and methodologies
  • Ability to translate complex initiatives into clear, actionable change strategies
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
  • Experience driving adoption across multiple workstreams
  • Data-informed mindset to assess impact and measure success
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in executing strategic change efforts in support of organization and cultural change.
  • Experience leading technology-specific change initiatives and/or working collaboratively with IT project teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and creativity skills along with the ability to exercise sound judgment by making decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
  • Proven ability to direct project teams in change management program roll-out and communication.
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and people management skills.
  • Adapts to changing environment, shifting priorities and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of change management plans for routine and enterprise initiatives
  • Partner with project leaders to assess change impacts and organizational readiness
  • Design and deliver stakeholder engagement strategies, communications, and training plans
  • Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions to build buy-in and adoption
  • Evaluate effectiveness of change efforts and recommend process or protocol improvements
  • Develop and standardize tools, templates, and best practices to strengthen change capability
  • Partner with internal clients and project teams to develop tools, presentations and plans for effective change management initiatives.
  • Develop and communicate approved change management project plans and proposal to project sponsors, management, executives, and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project planning, project workforce planning, progress reporting, vendor relationships and troubleshooting activities related to change management program roll-out and training activities
  • Facilitate Sponsor and leadership alignment to drive awareness and adoption of changes associated with projects.
  • Secure and engage APS resources as needed to contribute data or provide access to resources needed for development of change management work products.
  • Provide input to and review work products within the change management work stream and manage sign-off where needed.
  • Ensure completion according to change management plan (i.e. scope, schedule, budget).Assess performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to project teams, business management, project sponsors, executive leadership, and external stakeholders.
