About The Position
Responsible for reviewing hospital claims and clinical documentation to add, remove and modify charges and validate that coding/charging meets regulatory, third party clinical and reimbursement guidelines. Reviews accounts for all Huntsville Hospital Health System facilities
Requirements
- High School/GED
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to use computer and proficiency in Word and Excel
Nice To Haves
- RHIT
- RHIT eligible
- CCA
- CCA eligible
- CPC preferred
- Post High School education in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology
