About The Position

Overview Department: Nazareth Infusion Center/Oncology Schedule: Full time days, 7:30am to 4:30pm, flex time as needed Facility: Saint Mary of Nazareth Location: Chicago, IL Responsibilities Role Summary Provides clinical and operational leadership for the Oncology/Hematology Infusion Clinic in partnership with the Manager. Ensures safe, high‑quality infusion care for oncology/hematology patients, supports strong clinical staff performance, and maintains full regulatory compliance. Oversees efficient daily operations and serves as the administrative lead in the Manager’s absence. Key Responsibilities Lead daily clinical operations to ensure safe, efficient, and patient‑centered care Support quality initiatives, performance improvement, and compliance with federal and state regulations Oversee staff orientation, training, competency validation, and performance during assigned shifts Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and leadership to support coordinated care Assist with staffing, workflow management, and resource utilization Provide direct patient care as needed and guide timely adjustments to care plans Preferred Qualifications OCN or ONS certification preferred Oncology/hematology nursing experience in inpatient or outpatient settings Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Current and valid state Registered Nurse license. 2. Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. 3. Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current. 4. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current. 5. Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred. FACILITY / UNIT TRAINING 1. Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certificate preferred for Intensive Care. 2. Non-OB Facilities – NRP Required 90 days after hire and maintained. 3. Professional Certification within 2 years of hire, preferred. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $36.75 hour to $55.70 hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure. Requirements
