About The Position

We partner with charitable organizations to increase awareness of their programs and make an impact in the community. We have an immediate need for a Charity Fundraising assistant to join our growing team. The Fundraising Assistant will be the first point of contact for the Fundraising and Marketing & Communications teams. The main responsibilities for this role will be to process donations maintaining the database and deliver high levels of customer care. The Fundraising Assistant will also work with the Supporter Relations Manager to provide support to the department on a range of tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for all external and internal fundraising inquiries
• Provide a high standard of customer care, ensuring consistent thanking and acknowledgement of new/ departing donors
• Work closely with management and the communications team to prepare and send accurate and engaging donor communications
• Provide support to a range of fundraising and promotional events – including planning, logistics and on-the-day support
• Be responsible for the overall upkeep of the donor database – providing internal training and support to colleagues to ensure accurate inputting (after receiving training yourself that will be provided)
• Administer data inputting, amendments, running reports and creating data queries as necessary
• Support the fundraising team to ensure team tasks are correctly prioritised and deadlines are met
• Keep up to date with fundraising initiatives and news from across all sectors
• Introduce new ideas and initiatives into the role whilst taking ownership of work
