About The Position

Responsible for a specific area (station) of the kitchen, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency during prep and service. A Chef de Partie supports the Executive Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences and often mentors junior cooks.

Requirements

  • Advanced knife and cooking techniques; familiarity with luxury culinary standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate station activities.
  • Ability to maintain composure and focus during peak service periods

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the assigned station: prepping, cooking, timing, and plating dishes to the highest standards.
  • Supervise junior cooks and ensure they follow recipes, portioning, and food safety guidelines.
  • Monitor taste, temperature, presentation, and uniformity for all dishes from the station.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, proper labeling, and rotation of station inventory.
  • Communicate with culinary leadership about equipment needs, shortages, or quality concerns.
