About The Position

Culinary Services Group is hiring immediately for a Chef Manager position.   Location:1450 Honey Lake Rd, Greenville, FL 32331  Schedule: M-F, ALT Weekends / Holidays Requirement: Culinary Management  Pay Range: $70,000 to $73,000 per year   Culinary Services Group (CSG) is a top 50, fast-growing food service management company serving senior care, hospital, and behavioral health communities. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality food and service experiences, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring operational efficiency across the board. Your experience in culinary operations, staff training, and resource management will be essential in driving success.Job SummarySummary: As a Chef, you will ensure client and customer service satisfaction is attained by providing culinary resources and support. You may be responsible for managing the departments scheduling, discipline, and/or hiring.  You may assist the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef in developing new menus, recipes, and ordering. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, entrepreneurial Culinary professional.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of culinary management experience.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
  • Hands-on chef experience is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products including Excel.
  • We are looking for someone with a proven ability to lead kitchen teams, maintain high food quality standards, and build strong working relationships with clients and team members.
  • A passion for culinary excellence, strong communication skills, and a focus on continuous improvement are critical to thriving in this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive catering experience is preferred.
  • High volume batch cooking and complex food service operations experience is preferred.
  • ServSafe Certification is preferred.
  • Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides frontline culinary resources and support.
  • Assists with food cost control, menu planning, purchasing, and ensures food quality guidelines are followed.
  • Assists with planning and creating menus.
  • Produces and executes catering events.
  • Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team.
  • Assists with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
