Hubbard-Hall Inc., the oldest privately held chemical company in the United States, is seeking a highly motivated individual to promote and sell our line of proprietary, micro-electronic, and commodity chemistries for industrial surface finishing applications. The target market is Manufacturers of fabricated metal components. Our lines of proprietary chemistries include cleaning, conversion coatings, corrosion inhibitors, metal/paint stripping, and wastewater treatment. Position Summary: Mix specific raw materials in a certain order in accordance with the appropriate formula batch card and package for shipment to customers. Responsible for the safe and proper handling of all incoming and outgoing freight in the warehouse.

Requirements

  • High school or GED equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend instructions written in English.
  • Must be qualified to operate a forklift and hi-lift.
  • Compute skills.
  • Lifting up to 56 pounds on a daily basis.
  • Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Use batch cards to assemble inventory and follow mixing instructions to manufacture specialty products.
  • Unload raw materials into specific containers at specific weights and operate mixing equipment to obtain product as specified.
  • Properly label, package, and store finished material, including banding drums and pails.
  • Ship and receive loads.
  • Call and schedule carriers and coordinate outbound trucks.
  • Stage loads for shipment and generate shipping paperwork.
  • Assist with cycle counts.
  • Place product into racks and maintain a high level of organization in the warehouse.
  • Discharge duties assigned in ISO 9001 and Responsible Distribution as directed and initiate actions to prevent and correct non-conformance including interruption of production.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Follow PPE and general safe work practices.
  • Housekeeping ownership.
  • Ensure a high level of data integrity.
