Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual in French and English - required
  • 3-5 years' experience, CPG familiarity, independence within guidelines, strong Microsoft/technical application skills, and comfort in an analytical lab environment.
  • Independence: Able to work independently within established guidelines and follow instructions.
  • Computer skills: Strong computer proficiency, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and technical applications used in lab/QA environments.
  • Laboratory comfort: Comfortable working in an analytical laboratory setting and following lab safety/procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve analytical testing methods.
  • Implement new equipment at QA/QC labs and plant floor stations.
  • Document work practices and testing methods.
  • Provide training to hourly and salaried team members.
  • Lead project update calls.
  • Troubleshoot analytical testing systems.
  • Develop, improve, and implement analytical methods.
  • Roll out state-of-the-art technologies for measuring composition and structure of substances in a manufacturing food environment.
  • Support project execution.
  • Document Ways of Working and Training material.
