We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide high-quality care for a client in Morristown, NJ. This position is available for immediate start. Requirements
- Active CHHA license in New Jersey (required)
- Proven experience caring for clients with dementia or memory-related conditions
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be comfortable driving the client
- Background check
- Dependable, patient, and compassionate personality
- Strong communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with mobility assistance and fall prevention
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors associated with dementia
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for a client with dementia
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Medication reminders and monitoring
- Meal preparation and assistance with feeding if needed
- Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, maintaining a safe environment)
- Companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in condition
- Transportation to appointments, errands, or outings as needed
