Position Overview We are seeking compassionate and dependable HHAs and CHHAs to provide non-medical home care services in Upper Saddle River and surrounding Bergen County areas. You’ll support daily living needs while ensuring dignity, safety, and comfort.

Requirements

  • Active New Jersey HHA or CHHA certification
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • Prior caregiving experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Support mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
  • Prepare meals based on client preferences
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry
  • Provide companionship and social engagement
  • Give medication reminders (non-clinical)
  • Run errands or accompany clients as needed
  • Document care per agency guidelines
