About The Position

BGB delivers breakthrough commercial solutions for the life sciences industry. Our integrated teams combine medical insight, behavioral science, data, strategy, and creativity to help brands reach their full potential. We measure success through tangible impact: changes in prescribing behavior, market share growth, and patients reached. In recent years, BGB has expanded its innovation capabilities through the development of sophisticated AI-powered solutions that enhance commercial decision-making and market engagement. These proprietary tools represent meaningful competitive differentiation. We are now seeking a Chief AI Transformation Officer to lead the next phase of our evolution: embedding AI into the core of how the company operates. This executive will join the Executive Leadership Team and report directly to the CEO. The Mandate The Chief AI Transformation Officer will lead BGB’s transition toward an AI-first enterprise operating model. While the company has developed strong AI-enabled client solutions, significant opportunity exists to apply the same level of innovation to how work is performed across the organization. The mandate is to redesign workflows, integrate intelligent systems, and create an operating model that enables BGB to deliver greater impact for clients with increased speed, scale, and precision. This role is both strategic and hands-on. The leader will personally prototype and deploy AI systems in the early stages while building a small technical capability responsible for scaling those systems across the company. The role will also help ensure that AI-enabled transformation strengthens BGB’s long-term business model, creating new ways to deliver value to clients while maintaining competitive differentiation in the market. What This Leader Will Build An AI-enabled operating model Design and implement an operating framework that embeds AI, automation, and agentic systems into core workflows across Communications, Consulting, and shared enterprise functions. Intelligent workflow systems Develop and deploy custom GPTs, AI agents, and workflow automation systems that streamline complex work, reduce manual effort, and improve delivery speed and consistency. Enterprise automation and process transformation Analyze end-to-end workflows across the organization and redesign them using AI-enabled processes that increase throughput, scalability, and operational leverage. A scalable AI capability Establish and lead a small technical capability responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving internal AI systems and automation tools. New value creation opportunities Identify ways AI-enabled capabilities can expand how BGB delivers value to clients, strengthening both the firm’s competitive position and its long-term business model. The Profile We are seeking a builder-operator with deep AI expertise and a track record of implementing technology-driven transformation. The successful candidate combines strategic leadership with hands-on system development and has experience applying AI and automation to real-world operational problems. Many successful candidates will have experience leading AI or operating model transformation within a consulting firm, agency, technology company, or other complex professional services organization. Experience in advertising, medical communications, life sciences consulting, or other regulated industries is strongly preferred. Why This Role Matters BGB has already established AI leadership through its client-facing innovation. The next chapter is embedding AI into how the company works. The Chief AI Transformation Officer will help define how BGB operates in its next era — building an AI-enabled enterprise capable of delivering smarter, faster, and more scalable solutions for the life sciences industry. BGB Group is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status or any category or class of person protected by law.
