Department: Legislative Auditor Grade: 310NM Salary: $87,588/year Job Duties: R esponsible for management of the Audit Department in the absence of the County Legislative Auditor. Discusses audit program with County Auditor and remainder of Audit staff as instructed by the County Auditor. Determines the direction and thrust of an audit effort, i.e. the audit report to be Financial, Operational, Program, Special Investigation, Informational and/or Statistical with support of the County Auditor. Attends meetings and serves as his/her representative, during absence of the County Legislative Auditor. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (emphasis in Accounting) from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of related work experience in Public Accounting or a government auditing office.
• Must possess/maintain valid Driver's License or other government-issue identification.
• Must submit to/pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Public Accountant License preferred but not required.
