About The Position

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Chief Legal Officer, VP Legal, or equivalent senior legal leadership role within international organizations.
• Advanced proficiency in English (C2 level or bilingual), with Russian language fluency considered a strong advantage.
• Deep expertise across business law, contract law, employment law, intellectual property law, and corporate governance.
• Strong knowledge of international regulatory compliance frameworks and risk mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrated experience managing litigation, disputes, and relationships with external legal advisors.
• Proven ability to identify legal risks proactively and implement preventive, business-oriented solutions.
• Technological aptitude, including familiarity with financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics tools.
• Strategic mindset combined with strong leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive legal strategy aligned with long-term business objectives, proactively identifying and mitigating legal risks across global operations.
• Ensure full compliance with international laws, corporate governance standards, and regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions of operation.
• Oversee the creation, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements while managing risk exposure related to contracts, employment, and partnerships.
• Lead intellectual property protection strategies, including oversight of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, and manage infringement risks.
• Supervise litigation processes and disputes, coordinating with external counsel when necessary and ensuring effective case management.
• Support corporate structuring initiatives, including the establishment of new entities and expansion into new markets while minimizing regulatory risk.
• Oversee financial reporting compliance in collaboration with finance and audit teams, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks.
