About The Position

We service individuals and families through outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential and community-based services. We are seeking an experienced, strategic and operationally focused Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive leadership team and help lead our next phase of growth and clinical excellence. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the organization. The COO ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, and high-qualify delivery across all services and programs. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with deep experience in healthcare or behavioral health operations, strong financial and regulatory knowledge and demonstrated ability to scale services while maintaining quality and compliance. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), Behavioral Health or related field required.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare or behavioral health.
  • At least 5 years experience in a senior operational leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-site or multi-program operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement, managed care and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience leading organizations through growth, scaling or organizational transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of clinical and administrative departments.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • ensure efficient workflows, staffing models and resource allocation.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and accreditation.
  • Oversee risk management, quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
  • Manage operational budgets and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  • Oversee revenue cycle performance and support contract negotiations and payer partnerships.
  • Lead implementation of new programs, services and geographic expansion.
  • Support strategic planning and expansion initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor senior operational leaders.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and mission alignment.
