Chief Operations Officer
About The Position
Our COO will direct and lead business operations for the organization, with a focus on improving organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Works with the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to translate business vision and strategy into operational tactics to achieve strategic goals, with a joint focus on containing costs and revenue generation. Participate in the development and administration of policies on clinical and business operations. Maintains a key role in creating, implementing and evaluating strategy for the Operations team and the organization. Maintains high level and high visibility interactions with State of Rhode Island Departments and Executives and external community partnerships. Major focus on strategic initiatives that involve customer service, patient engagement, and patient focus groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Health Care Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading in a union environment
Nice To Haves
- MBA preferred
- Project management experience preferred
- Healthcare experience a plus; preferably working in an FQHC.
- Bilingual ability in English and Spanish, Portuguese or Creole speaking abilities preferred
