About The Position

Provides a safe, loving environment for children that fosters positive self-concepts. Provides day-to-day communication to parents, co-workers, and supervisors. Ensures children’s safety. Demonstrates an understanding of diversity. Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values). Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients. Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of high school equivalency) at hire.
• Florida Department of Children and Families’ (DCF) Introductory Child Care (45-hour training course) completion (including passed competency examination) within ninety (90) days post-hire.
• One (1) year of job-related experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development.
• Three (3)+ years of job-related experience.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) issued by the FL Department of Children and Families
