This position is for current OKDHS employees only. This position is located in Oklahoma City, Norman or Lawton Oklahoma Child Welfare Specialist IV - H23D Annual Salary: $52,217.89 + Full State Employee Benefits Applicants who possess a Master's Degree in Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional 5%. On-call positions will receive an additional bonus ranging from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on responsibilities. Travel is EXTENSIVE. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance. Assigned to the Qualified Residential Treatment Programs (QRTP) Unit, which are community-based treatment programs for children who require out-of-home care along with therapy and specialized services - including those children who are emotionally and behaviorally disturbed, developmentally disabled, and medically disabled. Identifies needs of residents assigned to contracted QRTPs; provides services to the QRTP residents as specified by the treatment plan; focus on transition planning and trauma responsive care. Ensures the safety and quality of care for OKDHS custody children placed in contracted residential facilities. Reviews treatment plans and files for each youth placed in the QRTP to ensure compliance with the QRTP contract. Conducts on-site visits to the facilities, maintains contact with administration, along with members of the Office of Client Advocacy & Oklahoma Child Care Licensing. OKDHS is a Fair Chance Employer.
