About The Position

SwimKids Utah is looking for a high-energy, friendly Children's Swim Instructor to provide one-on-one and small group swimming lessons for kids. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old
Comfortable being in the water for up to 5 hours per day
Able to tread water and ensure student safety
Effective communication skills with children and parents
Friendly, enthusiastic, and optimistic
Willingness to learn and accept feedback
No prior swim instructor experience is required-we provide full training!

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one and small group swimming lessons
Teach water safety and swimming skills in a fun, engaging way
Communicate with parents about their child's progress
Help students overcome fears and challenges with patience and encouragement
Stay active and engaged throughout your shift, making every lesson enjoyable and safe
