Chrome Operator - Flex - 3rd Shift
About The Position
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Set up and operate various machines for production of product per customer and work instruction specifications. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform plating operations in accordance with work instructions and work order specifications. Perform stripping operations in accordance with work instructions and work order specifications. Hardness test parts and document results after heat treat. Check quench for proper percentage and adjust as needed. Maintain and clean all equipment Operate hoist Follow all safety instructions and practices. Manage waste responsibly (utilize proper containers, participate in the recycling programs) Promote energy conservation Other duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Good shop math skills. Ability to prioritize effectively. Ability to communicate and work well with others. Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Able to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally Stands while working – 2 hours at a time Some overtime required #IND Maxcess is an equal employment opportunity employer.
