Position Summary Design, implement, and maintain Cisco ACI network infrastructure supporting IRS Criminal Investigation's digital forensics operations. Ensure secure, high-performance networking for critical law enforcement applications and cloud connectivity.
Requirements
- 4+ years Cisco ACI deployment and management experience
- 5+ years enterprise networking in government or regulated industries
- Strong background in network security and segmentation
- Experience with software-defined networking and automation
- Knowledge of federal network security requirements
- Proven troubleshooting skills in high-availability environments
- Previous or current experience with the IRS or Department of Treasury
- Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Cisco certifications required: CCNP or higher, ACI specialist certification preferred
- Network security certifications (CCNP Security) highly valued
- Cloud networking certifications (AWS, Azure) beneficial
Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain Cisco ACI fabric infrastructure
- Configure secure networking for Nutanix and cloud environments
- Expand ACI network to support Treasury Cloud connectivity
- Implement network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies
- Troubleshoot complex networking issues in 24/7 operational environment
- Support secure external data sharing capabilities implementation
