We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our growing team supporting site and land development projects across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer who wants to expand their technical design skills, gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of land development and site/civil projects, and work alongside experienced project managers in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment. You’ll contribute to projects from concept through permitting and construction while building toward increased responsibility and clear professional growth. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers and scientists to support the technical execution of land development and site design projects, including site layout, grading, utilities, stormwater systems, and erosion & sediment control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant site/civil or land development experience required
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with StormCAD and/or HydroCAD preferred
  • Experience with local and state permitting processes preferred
  • FE/EIT certification preferred or ability to obtain within 2 years

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers and senior staff in the design and delivery of site/civil and land development projects
  • Prepare detailed site design plans including layout, grading, drainage, and utility design
  • Assist with stormwater management system design and analysis
  • Develop erosion and sediment control plans and details
  • Prepare site plans, construction details, and supporting technical documents
  • Perform engineering calculations and design support tasks
  • Participate in field work and site investigations as needed
  • Coordinate with internal team members and support multidisciplinary project efforts
  • Assist with local and state permitting applications and supporting documentation
