About The Position

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you’ll work closely with our Principals in the Civil/Site practice to plan and execute projects across the private, public, and energy sectors including Oil & Gas (Linear, Well Pad), Site Layout, and Linear Power. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering Technology (M.S. is a plus)
  • 6+ years’ of Civil Engineering experience
  • Professional Engineering License (P.E.) or ability to obtain
  • Experienced in technical software and Civil Engineering technology, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Hydrologic/Hydraulic modeling software (Hydraflow/HydraCAD/HY-8)
  • Basic understanding of project financial management (AR/WIP) of projects
  • Experience in scope of service and budget (proposal) development
  • Proven ability to effectively mentor and manage staff
  • Experience communicating and coordinating between staff, clients, contractors, and government regulatory officials

Responsibilities

  • Manage project teams to design site layouts, erosion and sedimentation controls, stormwater management systems, and prepare utility and grading plans
  • Develop proposals, scopes of work, and project budgets; oversee financial performance and profitability
  • Perform quality control reviews and ensure compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and government officials throughout the project life-cycle
  • Participate in public meetings and project presentations as needed
  • Mentor and assist in the professional development of staff, including conducting annual reviews and setting development goals
  • Collaborate with senior management to customize your career path through leadership and business development training
