About The Position

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineer with zero to three years of working experience, who wants to be a part of our office growth and culture. The successful candidate will have a desire to work, grow, and have fun with a multi-discipline engineering team that has recently been recognized as one of the Denver area’s best places to work by the Denver Business Journal! This position will support the team in providing our clients with all aspects of civil engineering, including land development design, site layouts, grading plans, storm water management facilities, water quality best management practices, utility design, and multidiscipline coordination. Our regional Civil Engineering department consists of a small, but growing, team of professionals that enjoy leveraging our collective experience to deliver innovative solutions focused on our clients’ success. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from accredited college or university in Civil Engineering.
  • From zero to three (0 – 3) years of experience in the civil engineering profession.
  • EIT or ability to obtain EIT within 2 years.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including oral presentation skills.
  • Intermediate level computer skills necessary for daily activities, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and simple graphics
  • Ability to work independently as well as on collaborative teams.
  • Ability to work on a highly motivated multidiscipline team, think outside the box, and be proud of the work you do while having a passion for expanding your knowledge and skills.

  • Technical writing skills.
  • Solid understanding of commonly used hydrologic and hydraulic calculation methods.
