About The Position

Learning begins in the classroom but there’s no better place to gain real-world experience than with Stantec. Interns are an integral part of our teams, working to solve some of the world's most complex challenges. As an intern, you’ll work alongside our experienced practitioners. This hands-on experience will equip you with practical skills, build your network, and provide opportunities that set you up for success. Strong communities don’t just happen—they’re built. They’re creatively imagined, collaboratively planned, and readied to face tomorrow with optimism. We’re driving the future of Community Development. Our experts lead their fields, collaborating on projects that are as technically challenging as they are impactful, creative, and fulfilling. We’re a place where you can apply your passion—and find endless opportunities to help make communities more equitable, resilient, and livable. As an intern, you will work in a team environment and have exposure to residential and commercial development projects which may include infrastructure design, construction observation, earthworks analysis, stormwater management, and studies for feasibility, servicing, drainage, and property development potential.
