About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Design Intern to join our team! What You'll Be Doing: Provide drafting and design assistance for a wide variety of projects, from report stage through design and construction administration Become familiar with engineering plans and specifications and assigned software Follow production guidelines and project standards in the department drafting standards manual Approach tasks with an open mindset Perform field work under direction of others Collect and prepare data for evaluation May occasionally interpret general designs prepared by engineers or designers to complete minor details Coordinate with other technicians, designers, and engineers to complete details and ensure a cohesive design Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals What Required Skills You'll Bring: Pursuing a degree in a relevant STEM field Must possess excellent technical and communication skills Security Clearance Requirement: None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
