About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with relevant certifications.
  • Five years of claims management experience required.
  • Expertise in insurance principles and law for the line of business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims.
  • Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority.
  • Manage reserves and claim payments accurately.
  • Prepare state filings within statutory limits.
  • Coordinate vendor referrals for investigation and litigation management.
  • Communicate effectively with claimants and clients.
