About The Position

The BlueCare Claims Trainee position is an excellent opportunity for individuals beginning their professional journey to build a strong foundation in health insurance claims. In this role, you will learn how to review claim information, interpret policy details, and apply the appropriate benefits with accuracy and attention to detail. Since the role requires navigating several computer‑based systems, candidates should be comfortable working with technology and able to learn new software tools quickly. Trainees who excel are curious, dependable, and comfortable researching information to make well‑informed decisions. No prior claims experience is required—just a High School diploma, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to delivering careful, consistent service to our policyholders. Class Details: Start Date: April 13, 2026 Training Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Eastern) Post‑Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, flex schedule between 5:00 AM and 8:00 PM (Eastern)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills
• Exceptional time management skills
• Independent, Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
• If current employee with the company, must meet minimum performance expectations

Responsibilities

• Routing claim issues to next level or appropriate support areas; following up to ensure completion.
• Inputting, reviewing and validating the claims data received; evaluating their reliability and effectiveness in line with coverage and appraisal.
• Assisting in routine claim analysis and final determination; delivering administrative support throughout all claim handling processes.
• Performing basic investigator tasks; gathering and documenting relevant information as a preliminary investigation.
• Must be able to pass required testing.
• Work overtime as required.
