About The Position

Drive a delivery truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight (GVW). Summary: Delivers products to customers by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Services customers assigned to the route based on scheduled time-stopped ranking. Must adapt to any changes in work assignments and support organizational restructuring efforts. Follow accounts receivable guidelines set by the trade/customer when checking in orders (DSD, PO#, Military, Receipt, or Stamp) with the customer. Place the product in our designated area and/or move the pallet display directly to the floor. Pick up all shells/flats, returned pallets, and damaged or out-of-date products. Merchandise assigned stops as scheduled per management. Communicates issues, problems, or opportunities with the sales team and delivery team. Follow all company policies and procedures set forth by management.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Valid Class A CDL driver’s license meeting acceptable criteria and valid DOT medical card.
  • Employee must pass a background check, motor vehicle driver check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Encompass handheld database software is a plus.
