About The Position

Imperial Trading Co., LLC is looking for highly motivated and skilled CDL Class A Route Drivers to join our Team working from a new location in Jackson, MS!  We are proud that our Company has been in business for more than 100 years and continues expand as one of the nation's largest food distributors.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL & current DOT medical card
• At least 1 year (6 months considered) of CDL driving experience
• Must be able to pass road test
• Must have an acceptable driving record based on DOT and Company insurance mandates
• Must be in compliance with DOT's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse provisions

Responsibilities

• Responsible for being constantly vigilant to detect unexpected road conditions, distracted drivers, and motorists who don’t understand how commercial vehicles operate; and commercial drivers must operate in a safe manner in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations
• Conducts daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle (truck, tractor, etc.) and equipment prior to departure and upon return from route; any defects are to be reported and brought to the attention of management immediately
• Responsible for accurate and efficient product delivery procedures
