About The Position

Lakeshore Disposal, is seeking a Class A CDL Tractor Trailer Driver, in McCall, ID! . Home Every Night! . Schedule: Monday–Friday, Start at 5:30 AM, done when routes are finished (Generally 8-11hr days) (Occasional Saturdays, Overtime as needed.) . POSITION SUMMARY: As a Class A CDL tractor trailer driver you will complete routine trips between the Valley County Transfer Station and Clay Peak Landfill in Payette, ID with a 53ft trailer. This position requires you to adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures at multiple safety sensitive sites, as well as perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with Air Brakes Endorsement (Required)
• Must be able to operate both Manual & Automatic transmission vehicles
• Clean Driving Record
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
• Minimum 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Basic knowledge of truck components in order to complete pre- and post-trip inspections.

Nice To Haves

• Waste experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ability to safely operate a Class A Tractor Trailer Truck.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers.
• Operate hydraulic hand controls to unload refuse and dispose of trash at designated locations.
