EMR is hiring an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to run roll-off, flatbed, dump, and trailer equipment out of Camden, NJ, covering Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New York. Most driving is highway-based, but traffic can be heavy, so we need drivers who stay calm, safe, and professional behind the wheel. This role will be based out of Camden and typical hours are Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30 pm. This is a union position which pays $30.63/hr.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL (required)
  • Minimum 1 year Class A driving experience
  • Roll-off experience required (flatbed, dump truck, or trailer experience a plus)
  • Knowledge of DOT and state motor carrier regulations
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers
  • Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and handle tight schedules
  • Professional attitude and good customer service skills
  • High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • flatbed, dump truck, or trailer experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Drive roll-off trucks to customer sites for live loads and container swaps
  • Transport materials safely to and from job sites and designated drop locations
  • Secure loads per DOT and company safety standards
  • Coordinate daily routes and assignments with Dispatch
  • Weigh loads at the yard and report trip numbers accurately
  • Deliver strong customer service when interacting with customers on-site
  • Perform other driving and yard duties as needed
