B-TEK Scales, Inc . is seeking a Truck Driver to safely transport large truck scales and other oversized industrial equipment to customer sites all over the United States. Requirements

Valid CDL with a clean driving record
Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission commercial vehicles
Demonstrated ability to operate DOT-regulated commercial motor vehicle with a 48-foot trailer
Strong respect for equipment, procedures, and safety standards
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
Maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate class and endorsements
Meet all DOT physical qualification requirements and maintain a current medical examiner’s certificate
Comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements, including pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion testing
Adhere strictly to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and company safety policies
Demonstrate a consistent commitment to safe, compliant, and dependable work practices
Ability to climb in and out of commercial vehicles multiple times per day
Ability to assist with loading, securing, and unloading heavy equipment
Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring physical stamina and focus

Experience transporting heavy, oversized, or specialized equipment preferred

Responsibilities

Safely operate a DOT-regulated commercial motor vehicle with 48-foot trailer to transport large truck scales and associated over-sized components
Operate vehicles equipped with manual transmissions
Load, secure, transport, and unload heavy and oversized equipment with care, accuracy, and attention to detail
Perform thorough pre-trip, post-trip, and enroute inspections to ensure vehicle and load safety
Maintain accurate driver logs, hours-of-service records, inspection reports, and delivery documentation
Secure cargo in compliance with DOT cargo securement standards
Follow established routes, schedules, and work instructions, and adapt to changes as needed
Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch, supervisors, and job site personnel
Report equipment issues, vehicle concerns, or safety risks promptly
Maintain assigned vehicles, tools, equipment and garage in clean, safe, and dependable working condition
Work week: Mon – Fri, with occasional weekend availability required
Overnight stays per week: 2 to 5 per week
