About The Position
Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is actively seeking a dependable and experienced Class A Super 10 Driver to join our Transportation team. This position is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transport of aggregate and bulk materials using Super 10 bottom dump tractor-trailer combinations. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and bring a strong track record of safety, reliability, and professionalism to the role. This position plays a vital role in supporting our logistics operations while promoting our commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
Requirements
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating Super 10 end dump trucks (REQUIRED).
- Strong understanding of DOT compliance and transportation regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and safety.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Super 10 bottom dump trucks to haul and transport aggregate, dirt, asphalt, and other materials.
- Navigate urban, residential, and construction zones with precision and caution.
- Efficiently back into tight spaces, dumpsites, and job locations, ensuring safe dumping practices.
- Maintain and inspect Super 10 equipment regularly, promptly reporting any issues.
- Load and unload materials following company and industry safety standards.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork (e.g., logs, trip sheets, timecards) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, site foremen, and team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Follow designated delivery routes and adjust as needed in response to traffic, weather, or site conditions.
- Adhere to all DOT, company, and environmental regulations concerning material handling and disposal.
