About The Position

We are hiring skilled Class A Welders for a fabrication shop in Catoosa, OK. This role requires advanced knowledge of welding processes and the ability to consistently produce work that meets strict quality and code standards. As a Class A Welder, you will perform precision welding, blueprint interpretation, and equipment setup in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Class A Welder in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
  • Proficiency with multiple welding processes: MIG, Flux Core, TIG, and Stick.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, codes, and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and working long shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding functions per job specifications using MIG, Flux Core, and TIG processes.
  • Take and pass welding tests: 2G and 3G Plate (MIG/Flux) and 6G Pipe (TIG).
  • Select appropriate equipment, plan layouts, and assemble welding components.
  • Work closely with supervision and QA/QC to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Accurately read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical codes (ASME, API-650/620).
  • Utilize precision measuring devices such as tape measures, protractors, and gauges.
  • Perform arc gouging and other advanced techniques as needed.
  • Maintain high accuracy standards and follow safety protocols at all times.
