About The Position

Work as a part of a team to assist in carrying out educational activities in the classroom setting. This position works with the lead Teacher and Associate Teacher as a 3rd person support in the classroom. Implement educational activities by providing and maintaining an atmosphere in the classroom that promotes school readiness and developmentally appropriate practices for 3 and 4-year old children.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Luzerne County Head Start requires staff to possess current, valid Background Clearances (3) per state/federal regulations.
• Proof of education required to meet the qualifications for position.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Young Children preferred
• Bilingual Language abilities, English/Spanish, a plus
