Clean Room Technician
About The Position
You will enjoy working for a fast-paced, globally recognized custom manufacturer that has aggressive growth goals. We have recently acquired an additional 100,000 sq. ft facility in Hayward, CA. Our core competencies are in low to medium volume plastic component manufacturing and module assembly. We serve equipment manufacturers in semiconductor, electronics, medical, biomedical, solar, green energy, oil & gas, testing instruments and other industrial equipment. CHawk Technology’s manufacturing processes include plastic thermoforming (vacuum, pressure and drape forming), plastic fabrication, hot gas welding, fusion and diffusion bonding, contamination free and high precision CNC machining (3-5 Axis) and module assembly.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret written and verbal work instructions.
- Detail oriented.
- Job requires long periods of standing
- Must be able to withstand exposure to isopropyl alcohol used for cleaning
- Must work in a safe, responsible manner
- Must work scheduled shift and overtime, as required
- Must maintain a clean, organized work area, per 5S Standards
- High school graduate or GED required
- Experience in a manufacturing clean room setting
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a team
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and interpret written and verbal work instructions.
Responsibilities
- Duties performed while wearing appropriate clean room attire
- Responsible to maintain the clean room to Class 100 standards
- Inspect parts and assemblies for burrs, scratches, sharp edges
- Inspect parts and assemblies using UV black light, as required
- Clean and package parts and assemblies to required specs
- Use a heat sealer/ vacuum sealer to seal poly film tube and bags
- Affix all required labels per required specs
- Complete required Certificate of Compliance
- Report any issues to the supervisor or manager immediately
- Perform other related duties as required
