Seeking a dedicated part-time docent/guide to join the Center for Lake Erie Education and Research team. This role is essential for ensuring smooth daily operations including - Welcoming visitors to the open and accessible center space - Assisting visitors with the proper use of interactive exhibit technology within the center - Cleaning touch screens and other exhibit items when not otherwise engaged or as appropriate - Communicating, listening, and sharing thoughts and ideas with visitors based upon interactive exhibits. Communication – Worker will clearly and effectively share information about the proper usage of technology within the center. Physical Demands This position requires minimal physical demands, but applicants should be able to safely lift 25 pounds and sit and/or stand for extended periods of time; be able to work in a busy environment
