Our Client Engineering team is on the lookout for an exceptional Client Endpoint Engineer to infuse our team with expertise and enthusiasm. We’re looking for someone who’s not just experienced, but a true expert in Intune. If you also have experience with Microsoft SCCM, Azure, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and you are a wizard with task sequences and app packaging, we want you on board! This team collaborates with other departments across the enterprise to provide the best experience for our employees. The team has played a significant role in Ford's digital transformation, emphasizing user experience by transitioning to cloud-native solutions that allow employees to work efficiently from anywhere at Ford.

Requirements

  • 5 Years Experience with Windows, iOS & Android device management using Intune
  • Strong background in Windows, iOS & Android client Wi-Fi engineering
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Entra, and Conditional Access
  • Experience deploying Windows Update for Business.
  • Experience configuring and managing Windows 365.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, or Python for automation and system management tasks
  • Experience deploying Windows computers using Autopilot and iOS devices using Apple Automated device Enrollment
  • Wi-Fi profile configurations, deployments and nuance for iOS, Android and Windows
  • Experience with Windows application Development (C#/WPF/UWP)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Cloud PKI (nice to have but not necessary)
  • Basic understanding of certificate infrastructure, Root and Issuing CAs and SCEP certificate issuance, basic encryption algorithms (SHA-2 and SHA3)
  • Experience with SCEP certificate profile creation in Intune and deployment planning
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • General understanding of Microsoft Config Manager
  • Solid understanding of software development practices, including version control, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage configurations for Windows, iOS, and Android clients using Intune
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement Microsoft endpoint security stack via Intune
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues for Windows, iOS & Android client engineering
  • Use Microsoft Graph API to automate Intune tasks, manage devices, and generate reports
  • Create and deploy PowerShell scripts for device configurations, automation, and troubleshooting
  • Keep task sequence up to date with monthly WIMs, manage legacy OSD device configuration methods for hybrid-joined Windows devices
  • Leverage Intune's remediation features to proactively identify and resolve common support issues before they affect end-users
  • Keep current with the latest trends and technologies in endpoint management and security
