About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Client Service Coordinator (CSC) to join our team in a temporary role covering a maternity leave. This position is expected to last approximately 2–3 months, with the opportunity to remain on as a relief/locum associate afterward. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned veterinary CSR who enjoys a fast-paced hospital environment and is looking for short-term, meaningful work with flexibility. Overnight CSRs play a vital role in supporting clients and medical teams during some of the most critical and emotional moments in a pet’s life. This role offers the chance to make an immediate impact, gain additional specialty and emergency experience, and potentially continue with the hospital in a flexible capacity. Requirements

  • Previous/current veterinary CSR experience required
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-emotion emergency environment
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate presence
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently overnight
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and computer skills
  • Positive, energetic, and willing to jump in where needed
  • Interested in the possibility of ongoing relief/locum work after the temporary role

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level reception support in a busy emergency and specialty hospital
  • Greet clients, check in patients, and manage front desk flow during overnight hours
  • Answer phones and support client communication with professionalism and empathy
  • Assist with estimates, invoices, and financial discussions
  • Communicate clearly with medical teams to support patient care and workflow
  • Maintain accurate documentation and front desk processes during high-stress periods
  • Help create a calm, organized, and supportive experience for clients during urgent situations
