About The Position

Central Veterinary Hospital is a well-established veterinary general practice located in Fremont. We are searching for a full-time Client Service Representative or Receptionist to join our team in Fremont, CA! We’re offering an hourly rate of $20 - 25/hr based on experience, along with career growth potential and comprehensive benefits. About our Veterinary General Practice:
Since 1959, Central Veterinary Hospital has strived to bring excellent medicine and surgery as well as a gentle, compassionate touch to the pets entrusted to us. The hospital was founded under the leadership of Dr. W. S. Bentham, which later continued under his son, the late Dr. W. H. Bentham. Today, we keep many of the same goals and expectations of the founders in mind as we service the Fremont community. Requirements

• Have 1-2 years of experience in a customer service veterinary or medical setting.
• Are comfortable around cats and dogs
• Strive to provide each client with compassion and care
• Are team-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Have at least a High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• General front desk duties: greeting clients, booking appointments, etc.
• Rooming patients and taking a brief history
• Client communication
• Managing phone lines
• Cleaning and disinfecting the hospital
• Carrying out tasks as requested by the veterinarian
• Medical records management
