As a Client Service Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting all administrative responsibilities for front desk support and provide practice management support for one or more advisors or leaders. Requirements

  • Associate (2-year) degree or equivalent
  • 1-3 years Relevant Experience Required
  • Able to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism, and operate under limited/minimal direction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients.
  • Effective shown written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to function in fast-paced environment, maintain operational quality, ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of a financial advisors practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Understanding of business basics (profitability, negotiation), ability to work directly with clients to understand, resolve and detail any and all requests, informational updates and concerns.

Responsibilities

  • logging/distributing correspondence and check deposits
  • maintenance for office of supervisory jurisdiction and client files
  • office supply management (including maintenance of equipment)
  • processing expense submissions-tracking-approvals
  • initiating maintenance requests
  • schedule wholesalers and support branch seminar series/events
  • answering phones during regular business hours
  • greeting clients-prospects
  • scheduling client or prospect appointments
  • entering client data into various applications
  • supervising progress vs. practice goals
  • addressing client service requests
  • establishing new clients with Ameriprise, including introducing the digital experience
  • assisting advisor in preparation or follow-up to client or prospect meetings
  • supporting the practice's marketing programs (events, go-social, MOD, etc.)
