Centered around the core theme of Learn, Connect, Grow, the program offers a comprehensive blend of opportunities to expand your skills and professional network. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview. This program will be approximately 10-12 weeks in duration and consist of a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. As a Private Wealth Client Service intern, you will: Specific internship responsibilities are determined closer to the start date and depend on the needs of the hiring department. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Providing integral support for client service teams and special projects as assigned/requested Running daily, monthly and quarterly asset allocations and performance reports Assisting in the production of client meeting books and portfolio reviews Monitoring daily trade, overdraft and distribution reports Processing various money movement and cash requests Coordinating quarterly correspondence and communications to clients maintenance Resolving business issues using systems and data Offering recommendations as to how to improve business processes and efficiencies May perform additional projects upon request Who You Are: Current undergraduate student Minimum GPA 3.0 Demonstrated interest in Finance, Economics, Management, or related majors Expected Graduation Date between December 2026 and June 2027 must also be authorized to work within the U.S. How You’ll Succeed: Intellectual curiosity and independence of thought Strong quantitative and analytical abilities Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly both verbally and in writing Strong ability to read and write easily and extensively Superior time management and organizational skills Highly motivated with a desire to learn Works well within a team environment and is able to work across multiple teams Good judgment and professionalism in both work products and interactions Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Office applications; familiarity with either Bloomberg or FactSet is helpful At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected hourly rate of $25.00 per hour for the Massachusetts market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
