Requirements

Warm, empathic personality and excellent communication skills
Cultural competence, ideally representative of the cultural and ethnic populations most likely encountered in Queens.
Excellent interpersonal personnel and organizational skills
Documentation, assessment and writing skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks
Ability to work effectively as part of the clinical team
Must have a license or limited permit in the state of NY ( LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PHD, PsyD)
Two evenings or one Sunday and one evening is required

Nice To Haves

Experience in evidence based model is a plus (excellent training and supervision provided)
Language capacity in Hebrew, Yiddish, Russian a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and family psychotherapy on-site to children, adults and families
Utilize evidence based practice models in treatment
Maintain full caseload of kept weekly appointments
Document progress and results of treatment in a timely manner
