About The Position

The UNF School of Music is seeking a 9-month, non-tenure earning, Clinical Assistant Professor in Music Education. Position responsibilities include 3/3 teaching load or its equivalent, with additional course coordination duties and service. Primary responsibilities include teaching choral methods and elementary methods courses, supervising internship, and other courses within the music education degree program. Duties beyond course instruction will include maintaining an active research profile, working with state and local school systems, and serving as a liaison between the School of Music and the Silverfield College of Education and Human Services. The successful applicant will also engage in recruitment and retention by participating in School of Music auditions and maintaining an active presence in state and local K-12 music education.
