About The Position

This role provides an exciting opportunity to manage, oversee, and ensure the quality of clinical and genomic data across studies and projects. The Clinical Data Manager will act as the lead data expert on assigned clinical trials, supporting the collection, validation, and delivery of accurate data for analysis and reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biostatistics, clinical operations, regulatory, and medical affairs, to ensure study objectives are met efficiently. This role emphasizes precision, regulatory compliance, and process improvement in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Remote work options are available, offering flexibility while maintaining impactful contributions. You will also mentor junior staff and support the development of data management standards, contributing to the overall success of clinical programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical data management or a related field
  • Professional experience with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems and clinical data management processes
  • Knowledge of relational databases, data validation, and quality assurance principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis, filtering, and sorting
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel up to 10% and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Specify, configure, and maintain clinical study databases and related tools, including screen design, edit checks, query management, and data reporting
  • Lead data management activities on assigned clinical studies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, plan deliverables, and communicate progress and findings
  • Train clinical site personnel and colleagues on study-specific data management processes and tools
  • Contribute to process improvements, departmental procedures, and the development of best practices
  • Provide mentorship to junior data management staff and support the successful execution of data-related initiatives
  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with Clinical Data Programming for database build and maintenance
