What You Will Do In this role, you’ll be the nutritional expert our residents and teams depend on. You’ll assess each resident’s dietary needs, build individualized care plans, and follow up to make sure those plans are helping them thrive. You’ll partner with leaders and staff to ensure meals and snacks meet nutritional goals and offer guidance whenever questions about nutrition or food safety come up. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or advanced degree in food and nutrition or dietetics (required)
  • Must be a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian, or Medical Nutrition Therapist in Nebraska
  • At least 2 years of nutrition or dietetics experience (required)
  • Must meet Nebraska’s licensing or certification requirements to practice
  • Must stay within Nebraska scope‑of‑practice guidelines
  • Basic Life Support (CPR, AED, and First Aid) certification required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospital or long‑term care nutrition services is a plus
  • Relevant education may be considered in place of some experience
