About The Position

Duad Wellness is redefining geriatric mental health care in Illinois. As a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient (PHP/IOP) provider focused exclusively on older adults, the program delivers compassionate, evidence-based treatment designed to preserve dignity, independence, and emotional well-being. Care is grounded in interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical integrity, and measurable outcomes tailored to the realities of aging. This is an opportunity to join Duad Wellness at the launch of the Springfield program. As a new practice, key clinical systems, processes, and team structure are actively being developed. You will play a central role in shaping clinical standards, building team culture, and establishing a strong, sustainable program from the ground up. Duad Wellness is seeking a Clinical and Executive Director to lead the Springfield program. This dual leadership role requires a licensed clinician who brings both operational vision and strong clinical expertise. You will provide strategic oversight and hands-on clinical leadership to ensure the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Active Illinois licensure as LCSW or LCPC, in good standing (LCSW preferred)
  • At least 5 years of clinical behavioral health experience
  • At least 2 years of leadership or clinical supervision experience
  • Knowledge of PHP and IOP operations, regulatory compliance, and outcomes-based care

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in geriatric mental health or older adult programming
  • Experience supervising clinicians toward independent licensure

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all clinical programming across PHP and IOP levels of care
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop therapists, case managers, and support staff, including providing clinical supervision toward independent licensure
  • Maintain treatment model integrity, documentation standards, and clinical best practices in geriatric behavioral health
  • Lead interdisciplinary treatment planning, utilization review, and performance improvement initiatives aligned with program goals
  • Monitor symptom reduction, functional outcomes, and quality indicators
  • Ensure full compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and community partners to coordinate comprehensive care
  • Provide direct clinical care when appropriate and maintain a strong therapeutic presence within the team
  • Partner with leadership to support operational growth and fiscal sustainability
  • Foster a culture of accountability, compassion, and continuous clinical improvement
