National Jewish Health is seeking a Clinical House Supervisor to serve as a go-to clinical resource during business hours. This position will be supporting staff, assisting with coordinating patient care, responding to emergencies, and ensuring safe, seamless patient flow across inpatient, outpatient, and specialty service lines. This role has the opportunity to: Lead clinical response during emergencies (Rapid Response, Code Blue, security events) Coordinate staffing, triage needs, critical values, and urgent clinical issues Support teams across inpatient, immediate care, ancillary, and outpatient services Troubleshoot complex clinical challenges, including IV access, lab draws, and equipment concerns Promote safe transport, after-hours coordination, and adherence to NJH policies and standards Serve as a trusted clinical partner for frontline staff, providers, and leadership This role is ideal for an experienced RN who brings calm, confident leadership, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to patient safety. The Clinical House Supervisor serves as a trusted resource across the organization, supporting staff, coordinating urgent needs, and ensuring seamless, high-quality care delivery. Position Summary To function as the on-site administrative authority for Nursing Service and provide direct operational supervision of all nursing units while on duty. To assist the Director of Nursing by supervising staff, problem-solving, initiating changes, providing crisis intervention and insuring safe care. Ensures adequate and safe staffing for patient care units.
