Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS)
About The Position
Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) to join our dynamic laboratory team. If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for patient care and a commitment to accuracy, we encourage you to apply. Demonstrated experience with laboratory instrumentation and methodologies across various departments (e.g., Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunohematology). Prefer Blood Bank and at least one other discipline. Must have a current MTA license and will consider a Blood Bank limited license. Proficiency in performing complex laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Strong understanding of quality control, quality assurance, and laboratory safety protocols. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in an acute care facility required.
- Bachelor's Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA
- Must be appropriately trained in clinical laboratory science as evaluated by the Director of the Clinical Laboratory
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (CLS) required.
- A current Los Angeles County fire card is required.
