About The Position

Overview: 5 days per week Job Description Summary: Assists the coordination of daily clinical operations and the planning, evaluation, and implementation of program services. Manages and evaluates staff, ensuring quality patient care and compliance with standards and regulations. Job Description: Essential Functions: Assists with the daily operations of the department, including policies and procedures, budget management, recruitment, and other administrative tasks. Participates in departmental planning, marketing and implementation of new programs. Assists with coordination of departmental performance improvement activities. Performs the clinical duties of department staff, effectively interacting with patients, families, health care teams and supervised staff. Serves as an advocate and liaison for department in committees and meetings and with internal and external groups. Supervises department staff, providing clinical leadership and expertise and ensuring compliance with performance standards and external regulatory agencies. Assist with the training and continuing education of staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, required.
  • CPR certification, required. Must be received no later than 60 days post hire or 60 days post expiration.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Effective leadership, decision-making, and supervisory skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Three years minimum experience in a clinical setting, required.

  • Experience in a leadership capacity, preferred.
